“After Rage” is a short work for solo muti-percussion featuring the now standard Xenakis-style instrumentation. The piece is the realization of my improvised cadenza from a larger work, J Andrew Smith’s “Rage-Remit” from his evening length suite “Utterances”.

The piece features a slower introductory section followed by a blistering end, making “After Rage” a solid addition to any bachelor’s recital program.
